Well, I did it.

Went and got myself married. Small group of people (or as small as it can get with a family as big as mine) and no church, no God... just a nice short ceremony in an awesome Greek restaurant with good friends, family and plenty of food and booze.

Since it was on the Day of the Dead, we used it as a theme. Our friend made this little cake and cupcakes for us, they were pretty damn good.



Going on my honeymoon in a few hours and will be away all week, so just wanted to say I'll miss this place (no wifi!) but I'll be back and running next Monday.

And here I was stupidly asking why you didn't have your wedding on Oct. 31 in the other thread. Día de los Muertos didn't even occur to me.

A piece of advice: Keep dating your wife; the courtship doesn't end once you get married...it just kicks into high gear. As the years progress, this will become even more important, trust me.
