I've never been an Obama supporter. No one who knows me doesn't already know this. They also know that I don't support McCain either, but I tend to align myself more with him than Barack. I did not vote for Barack or McCain, nor was was I ever going to. With this in mind, I'm happy to see Barack win.
Living in a country where most of the people are unhappy with the way things are going, for lack of a better word, sucks. Every month it became worse. Now, to suddenly see most of the population have hope for what's to come is incredibly inspiring. Barack Obama, from what I've seen, will be a much better leader than McCain would have been, and I think that's exactly what we need.
Again, I'm not a fan of Barack's policies, which will not be discussed on here. I'm not a Democrat. I'm not a Republican. But I finally like it's a good thing to be an American again.
Congrats Barack.
