Best Bond Songs

Simple as that. There are twenty songs (we'll say orchestral scores do not count), so what are your ten favorite opening themes to the James Bond film series?

10. Thunderball
9. Tomorrow Never Dies
8. Moonraker (perhaps the only good thing to come out of this movie)
7. You Only Live Twice
6. A View to a Kill (so wonderfully 80s, thanks Duran Duran)
5. Goldeneye (when Tina Turner's on, she's fucking on)
4. Diamonds are Forever
3. Goldfinger (fucking legendary)
2. For Your Eyes Only (one of the most beautiful)
1. "Nobody Does It Better" from The Spy Who Loved Me

10. You Know My Name -- I think it gets pretty unfairly jumped for a song that feels like a modern take on a late 60s style Bond song.

9. Diamonds Are Forever -- Can't argue with Bassey.

8. You Only Live Twice -- Nicely captures the Japanese setting.

7. The World Is Not Enough -- Another song I think gets unfairly overlooked, but I love Shirley Manson channeling another Shirley with Garbage backing her up.

6. A View to A Kill -- The only good thing in the whole film.

5. Goldfinger -- The one that started it all.

4. Nobody Does It Better -- No better snapshot of where Bond was in the 70s.

3. For Your Eyes Only -- I agree with Doc, it's probably the most melodic and beautiful of the Bond tunes.

2. Live and Let Die -- It was a Beatle doing a Bond song, the epicenter of pop culture.

1. Thunderball -- To me, nothing says "James Bond" like this song. The wailing brass, the way the Bond theme is subtly woven in, and Tom Motherfucking Jones belting it out like nobody's business.
