All your sig needs is a flash banner that infects my computer with spyware and you'll be set.

One I grew up with, but never heard applied to a person that I can recall, was 'blacker than Toby's ass'. I heard it used in contexts like "This is good coffee. It's blacker than Toby's ass!" I can see how that could be deemed offensive by some.

Never heard that one before until I saw What Up My Wigger

Also CAC (Cracka Ass Cracka) used frewuently on black messageboards.

I'm Jewish, originally from Israel. I've been called a FISH* more than several times in my life. I find it hilarious.

Plainfield has a high African American population, so not surprisingly, there were a lot of African American people present. The Judge started to call the calendar (sort of like taking attendance before the actual hearings start, to see if there are any no-shows they should just remove from the To Do pile), and came to one case where the defendant's name was "Koon". Apparently Mr. Koon was not present, and the Judge called out several times: "Koon! Is there a Koon here?" You can imagine the yuks the cops had over that one.

Actually, the fact that "coon" is a racial slur can get pretty annoying at times. Just yesterday, I was having lunch w/ some co-workers in the office cafeteria, and somehow the subject of hats came up, and we started putting each other in silly hats (you know, "I could just picture Shaun showing up to court in a Russian fur hat!" and similar). Someone added a Davy Crockett hat to the mix, and I laughed and said: "Yeah, with the big 'coon tail!" I got a couple you-didn't-just-say-that shocked looks.

My parents had a Maine Coon cat until recently (lived for 24 years, was a great cat), and my father-in-law also has a Maine Coon cat. Every time I say or type that breed's name, I feel a pang of guilt.

Exactly.

I'm not saying off-color jokes can't be funny, I actually happen to think that everything has a possibility to be humorous if you take the right angle. What I was trying to say was the original point of this thread is essentially an excuse to make a list of racist terms. Maybe I just don't find lists funny.

Apple. Learned that from the autobiography Inside Out by James Tyman back in my university sociology days.

I've always been partial to this exchange:

Jack Woltz: Johnny Fontane will never get that movie. I don't care how many dago guinea wop greaseball goombahs come out of the woodwork!

Tom Hagen: I'm German-Irish.

Woltz: Well, let me tell you something, my kraut mick friend. I'm gonna make so much trouble for you you won't know what hit you!
I don´t get how Kraut is racist. Germans aren´t a race in the first place. Well, since 1945 that is.

Anyway I always took it as a jab at our percieved atrocious taste when it comes to cooking. Though Sauerkraut tastes delicious with Kassler! Heathens.
There's Kraut and there was Hun. And Gerry for some reason.
Gerry? Careful dogg, you are about to cross a line here...
Or it was Gerrie? Look, I don't know. The brits during WWII said it.

But Sauerkraut is some rank stuff. My dad would eat it. Yeesh.
There ain´t no Brits! They are all Tommys if my grandfather is to believe. Ahhh, the good ol´ times. Shame that I missed out on that Gerrie stuff though.
So you would've wanted to be in Germany during WW2. Jeez, first this Tokio Hotel madness and now this? Good lord man.
What makes you think I haven´t? This is an internet message board after all. Perception can be decieving. Never wondered why I come around so well with those South-Americans? Huh?
Hmm is that so eh? (Places a call to the Simon Wesenthal Center). Tell me more.
Nah. Attorney-client privilege and all that legal mumbo jumbo. See, all my bases are covered.

Anyway back to racial slurs you gun-toting hillibilly.

What the hell is a racial slur for Americans anyway. Ami doesn´t cut it.

I can one up that. Around this area, one of the biggest car dealerships is Koons Ford. A couple years ago, they were sponsoring the Black History Month commercials on the local fox station. So, one day, after watching a commercial about MLK, I was invited by the announcer to "Celebrate Black History Month with Koons!". I went into the restaurant I worked at and told my (black) friend who worked there about the commercial. He just smiled and said "Who better to celebrate it with? Come on Miller, come celebrate with me!".

I see you went with the phonetic spelling of mulignan there, at first glance I thought it was some kind of tortuously abstruse slur against the Chinese in reference to Hua Mulan. I happen to prefer the outmoded term "lascar" myself, a slur against East Indian sailors that sounds like a snobbier version of "hooligans". I don't happen to know any East Indian sailors, but if I did, I'm sure I would hate them, and call them a lascar while angrily snatching a monocle from my eye.

I've always liked "skel", ever since I heard it used in Miller's Crossing. It sounds so...rough. And yet, it basically just means "white trash".
Street Cheetah? That doesn't sound like an insult, that actually sounds really cool, like a European car.

"Did you see Bond's new car in Quantum of Solace? What was it?"
"'09 Street Cheetah, baby."
Another one I like is Gino-type (from genotype), referring to greasy-haired, gold chained, open shirt-wearing, Camaro-driving, soccer-players.

Chicken-fucker. It's racial-non-specific, and helps you to identify Broken Lizard fans.

I was pretty disappointed to find just crap slurs for norwegians, until I found this; Mountain Monkey -Danish slur for Norwegians. Frequently used at sporting events.
Ethnic slurs against scandanavians. Wow, never knew I would encounter that.
