It took the technical achievement of the original, and made it the best 3D fighting series ever made. Melding balanced characters, different realistic fighting styles and putting timing and execution of button mashing and complicated controls.

Winners don't use drugs, but if they do, they get a missile in the face. Also, the music kicks so much ass the Pixies covered the theme. And this game is arguably the video game equivalent of Death Wish 3.
