This is a great pair-up. I hope Kevin and Tony bring back the good ol' days. The Fango cons were really something to look forward to back in the early '90s. Trying to balance Chiller and Fango during those times were tough on my bank account, I can tell you that. I love both shows and you can expect me to be the first in line come January.

That is awesome news, nice to see something official after the rumors were overheard during the last Fango con. Three days, cheaper prices, and a larger scope sounds like the perfect combo, and the fact that it's nearby is a BIG bonus.

Yeah, this is great news. Usually I've forfeited one con over the other and even though I've stuck with Fango, lately the January NY conventions have been ok but not stellar in my opinion. But I'm very excited at this news. Should be a great time in NJ come next January.

I may have to wait on that second high def digital video camera until after January now.

RR if I make it maybe we can actually grab a beer this time out eh?

Wanderlust has me these days, go figure. A few years ago when I toured for a living (ha! now THATS a joke) I hated travelling.

I go to WOH and Chiller every year, so this is convienent for me since I live in New Jersey. When the time arises, I would love to meet up with anyone who is going.

One concern I have is this: Where will the "main ballroom" and guests be? For anyone who has gone to Chiller Theatre at this location, you know that guests are either in a big tent outside or on upper floors crammed into rooms. Also the main floor of the convention is packed to the gills as a dealers room...
I wonder where they will show previews, and have the guests make their presentations. It should be interesting to see.

I know it will be packed, because Chiller is always packed...that's why I get there early, I mean still dark time.

Should make for a cool time, if crowded.

Man I was just jazzed by that last paragraph in the ad. I would love for this to hit Chicago. Although Flashback Weekend was a blast, having two conventions here would be fantastic!

Chicago IS on our list of Towns that we want to bring the show.

I can't wait for the next Chiller/Fangoria show next January, but thankfully we have the Chiller Theatre show in April/May to hold us over.

And don't forget October Chiller!

Diceman, what was the reason(s) the NJ Chiller Con switched hotels ???

I've been going for about 10 years now, and I prefer the layout of the previous ( Hilton ?? ) hotel .... Any chance it would ever make it's way back ???
The Sheraton is actually a bigger hotel inside space wise, but the biggest peob with the Hilton was the parking and the fact that they continued to raise the rates on us. As you well know we want and try our best to keep the show affordable. If we would have stayed at the Hilton the ticket prices, hotel rooms and dealers tables would have gone up DRASTICALLY in price and when they wouldn't "chill" we moved.

There are other reasons, but that's business related and we don't discuss that stuff.
