My People

These guys have absolutely exploded over here. About a year ago I saw them as a support band for 65daysofstatic and nobody had heard of them, now they're all over the fucking place and it's kind of awesome. They're essentially an electro-dance group fronted by somebody doing a dodgy Ian Curtis impression, but they're surprisingly competent live and there's something about the beat that makes them so fucking danceable it's unreal.

Love'em. I saw the video for "Are you the One" in a bar and thought. "This is some great low-tech shit here"

They played the LA Weekly DeTour show couple months back and I was unfortunately out of work. But my Aussie friends love'em.

And "This boy's in Love", what a great slow/make-out song.

Yeah its great seeing two aussies take the electronica world by storm like they have - theyre EVERYWHERE here and much loved.

I'm seeing them at a huge dance festival in February with Fatboy Slim and The Roots - can't wait actually.

Holy crap, I heard of this band while looking up some Van She Tech songs some time ago, then forgot about them. Nice to hear that they are getting popular.

I love "Are you the One" video. Pixellation used as an effect, C64 graphics and a reference to a David Hasselhoff gif = awesome. A great song too.
