...and the "No Shit Sherlock Award" for 2008 goes to...

Speaking about this year's MTV award winners, Kanye, 31, said: Britney Spears over Rihanna? Are you serious? I mean f***ing Jared Leto? He's my boy but he shouldn't have won over some of those other artists.

I won nothing last year and I'd brought out Stronger.

Then this year, just because I was there, I won best urban act. This was Lil' Wayne's year.

Seriously, is this some kind of big deal because someone's finally bothered to state the (captain) obvious?

This sounds like it's a surprise to Kanye and Kanye only. I love the fact that he takes these awards seriously enough in the first place that he's bothered to be up in arms.
