Hulk

I didn't see a thread for this so I'm posting one.

That might be because no one wants a thread posted on Hulk. I don't mean the character, I mean the comic series written by Jeph Loeb.

Yes, to me it's the dumbest comic book on the rack next to Wolverine: Origins (which isn't bad as much as it's disappointing). However, no matter how bad the writing is, it usually makes enough sense. I mean sure, Loeb tossed out the Hulk's intelligence that he's had through Planet Hulk and WWH, made Thor a weakling, and hasn't explained anything yet but I'll play along. So tell me this: How in the world did Grey Hulk (Mr. Fix-it) come back?

I was pretty sure Doc Sampson got rid of all the Hulk personalities during Peter David's run.

It is one of the dumbest books on the racks right now.
I think loeb will drag out the WHO IS 'RULK' (......) thing for at least another year.

The art is Nice, though.

This comic sucks. I'm pretty sure the Red Hulk is Clay Quartermain, by the way. Wasn't he 'killed' off panel by the Red Hulk? Fucking terrible and lame no matter what.

I stopped reading this after I saw the cover for issue number one. Forget Jeph Loeb, I hate Ed McGuinness. Not only does he draw like a five year old, but he's also an asshole.

They have a new artist on the book now.

I guess McGuinness left for something better.

No he just took a couple of months off.

Yeah, I preferred Art Adams' art to McGuinness' to be honest. Just a little bit more. McGuinness does action scenes better though.

Seriously, does anyone wtf is up with Grey Hulk showing up?

Maybe they're going back to 'a different hulk shows up depending on the situation' thing they did years ago.
I think Paul Jenkins was writing at the time.

They haven't resolved the Red Hulk fiasco yet? I gave up on this months ago.

I liked the Skaar: Son of the Hulk stuff. A teenage Conan. Interesting concept.

Planet Hulk did bugger all for me so i was suprised by Skaar,it's far from great but a lot better than it had any right to be.The second story in each issue tends to be the better one.

I did enjoy Hulk#7 but yeah Jeph Loeb and Marvel don' mix,.His "colour" series of books are ok but they don't deserve the high praise they get.His storytelling is really uninspired.

Jeff Parker's Giant-size Hulk was a lot of fun,but then all the "Marvel Adventures" writers tend to produce Gold whatever title or character they're working on.

I dug Planet Hulk. It was different. Skaar isn't so bad either.

Jenkins? Gah...wasn't he responsible for a long run of shitty Spider-Man books?
