I'm sure many of you are familiar with this holiday promotion amazon has been doing these past few years.

What I am proposing with this thread is that if I happen to receive an invitation to buy something in one of the rounds I don't care about and it was the item you wanted yet did not get a chance to get it then I am happy to get it and set up an exchange with you via PM.

Kind of a way to increase everyone's chances. If the thread idea is no good please feel free to delete it.

The only two rounds I am interested in are:

Round 3: Sony Blu-ray Player

and

Round 6: KitchenAid Professional Stand Mixer

Clarification:

I was thinking swaps and/or purchasing the items and giving Chewers first crack at buying it from each other.

What are the chances of even being about to get the items you vote for? They're slim to none, correct? I gave up on this last year, even if it is a cool idea.

Also, apparently you can buy ANY of the 3 items, even if it didn't win (if you are selected)? That was a surprise to me, but it's in the details on the page.

You can, the price just won't be as awesome as if the item won the vote.

These are the only circumstances in which I expect to try and get a Blu Ray player/PS3 this year. Bring it on.
