Best Franchise?

Tremors is leading the pack, according to the poll on CC. Almost twice that of Evil Dead.
Now, I love Tremors, and while I like Evil Dead, I'm not the huge fan many of you are, but....Evil Dead has at least grown and evolved. Ok, the Graboids evolved, but Aftershocks was not the world's greatest sequel, mostly due to directing, pacing, and writing. (Seeing Ward & Gross continue to play the characters was fun, however). With any luck, the 3rd film will reignite the franchise, but...should the first two films be beating Evil Dead out THAT much?

I have a feeling a lot of people are just doing that to be funny. I could be wrong, but it's hard to imagine more people liking 'Tremors' then 'Evil Dead'.

I loved BOTH 'Tremors' movies, and I'm very excited about the 3rd, even if it is only Michael Gross. The second one was just as good as the first in my opinoin, but neither are better then 'Evil Dead'. That's just crazy talk.

I'm sorry. It says, "Tremors"? I thought it said "Benji".

Friday the 13th - single greatest franchise in history. Nothing can ever take it. Most movies switch gears and change up, but Friday the 13th is about the unstoppable hand of God killing fucking everybody and never dying.

But, that's just one interpretation of it.

Bullshit on all accounts.

Nightmare on Elm Street is the greatest of horror franchises cause at least there was a couple of sequels in there that tried to do something new with the source material. And at least it had some continuality.

Evil Dead is fun as a series and while they can be edited together into one movie in a pinch, they vary greatly in scope, tone, and intent.

Phantasm is the coolest series, at least until numbero four-o which pretty much flushed the series down the big porcelain megaphone as David Schow would say.

Tremors is really a science fiction series that pretty much wrapped up in the first one. Sure the sequel had some laughs, but it wasn't on par nor will the third one be.

Raoul,in my terms ALIEN 4 is a great masterpiece and Repley 8 rules !!!

Anyway,AFTERSHOCK wasn't so bad. Fred Ward since REMO WILLIAMS is one of my cult actors and i would be very happy to see him again in the third chapter.

Evil Dead is...fantastic.

Unfortunately, he isn't in it.

I don't know. When I'm feeling frisky and the need to beat off swells inside me like the first waves of an acid frenzy, I find that Repley 7 does it for me.

I think it has bigger tits then Ms. Weaver does...

For shame Mr. Burns, for shame! Massacre 1 and 2 (even 4 on a certain level) were all wonderful films. The amount of people who worship this movie isn't shocking, it's the amount of people who think it's total shit. I agree with you though, that Argento's Three Mother's saga would benefit greatly from completion.
