Colbert's Christmas Album

Toby Keith's "war on Christmas" song is pretty inspired and done completely straight-faced. Actual lyrics:

There's a war on Christmas, it's under attack
But this year America is taking it back
Separate church and state, that's what some liberal said
I say it's time we liberated him from his head

You can call me un-Christian, but that's not true
Buddy, I got a present for you *gunshot*
(It's the thought that counts.)

It's almost enough to make me forgive him for "Beer for My Horses" and that "boot in your ass" song. Almost.

Nothing, if songs that make lynching, vigilantism, and a blatant disregard for the justice system sound like they're the old-fashioned American way are your thing.

Lynching, vigilantism, and disregarding the law are all awesome things.

Feist's song has been growing on me. But, my favorite still has to be the Elvis Costello and Colbert duet at the end.
