Let The Right One In @ The Plaza

The Plaza is showing Let The Right One In through at least Thursday. Each day has showings at 5:15pm and 7:30pm. (http://www.plazaatlanta.com/showtimes.html)

Anyone think they'll be going this week? I'll definitely be taking the lady up to see it (she missed out when I saw it at The Tara), and we'd love to meet some Chewers while were at it. She and I are flexible on day and time, so what say you, Atlanta Chewers?

I'll be calling The Plaza tomorrow during the day and asking how long they predict they'll be showing it, in case this week isn't any good for anyone.

Is it really gone this Thursday? I did want to catch it again before it vanished from the theaters. If people do want to see it, I'm game for any day/time except for Wednesday, since that's when Slumdog is playing (hopefully I get a ticket for that one).

I called them and the Box Office gentlelady told me they would be playing it through at least next Thursday, so there is some wiggle room for folks.

I would encourage everyone to call and corroborate that themselves before making plans based on it.

Seen it, but many evenings I end up next door at the Righteous Room, so I'll keep an eye out on the night if folks are going to catch it.

So when are we going to see this motherfucker?

Anybody that can/want to go Monday? Say... 7:30pm?

If people have different preferences, shout 'em out. It'd be nice to have an Atl Chewer outing for this fucking stupendous movie.
I'm down for Monday.
I can do Monday, too. See you good folks there. Don't forget to bring cash.
No Monday for me -- got The Reader in the AM, then have to work my balls off for about 12 hours after.

Yeah, today kinda fucked the rest of my week.

I'm out of town Wednesday and Thursday it looks like, and I won't be able to get to Atlanta in time tomorrow night.

Grey, Josh, are you guys flexible enough for Tuesday night? I understand if not, but I hope I could see you fellas (and anyone else available) there.
Also, note that Tues nite is an infinitely better film at the Plaza: SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT.

Thats worth flying down to see!
I may try to get over there for Silent Night, Deadly Night.
I'll be there for SNDN definitely, maybe not until right before the movie starts since I've got VALKYRIE at 6 on Tues, too.
I guess the option of a double feature on Tuesday night exists. I might have the fortitude for that. I'll probably go for SNDN, too, since those Splatter shows are good times.

Otherwise, I'll just try to catch LTROI sometime on my own-- especially if I take a day off this week, which I'm angling to do.

SNDN sounds like a good idea. A double feature could be cool. I guess we'll see!
If we did a double feature then we would have to see Let the Right One In at 7:30 and literally walk out of the theater and into Silent Night, Deadly Night. I'm cool with whatever you guys want to do- I have no problem with seeing both of them.

On a somewhat unrelated note, does anyone remember hearing that Street Trash is going to be the January horror film at the Plaza? I can't remember if that's what they said.

The lady and I will be there at 7:30 for LTROI, and will be staying for Silent Night, Deadly Night at 9:30.
WELL, I have some new information. LTROI is staying past Thursday, and will in fact move down to the big screen as of Friday (it is currently playing in the crackerbox upstairs).

If participants would rather spread out their viewing pleasure, that could be a consideration.

Thanks for the reconnaissance Grey! That's interesting news. This would keep the Lady from having to get off of work early...

I will definitely be at Silent Night, Deadly Night, but I may go with Grey's info and move LTROI to this weekend (I can parlay it into a date. Two birds!)

I feel like I'm playing musical vampire chairs.
Yeah, I'm probably working a little late tonight, so the 7:30 would be tough for me. I'll wait for the bigger screen, too.

Should see you fellas there for Christmas Terror.
I'll be there for Silent Night, Deadly Night for sure.

What day were you thinking of doing Let the Right One In? I was going to head out Friday for Florida since I'm spending my break down there.

If we were to go Friday night, I would stay and leave on Saturday morning though.

Friday night could happen, but I won't be able to say till tomorrow. When I hear what's what, I'll post it up.

Let the Right One In is still going strong at the Plaza. I went on Friday and the theater filled to about a third full (not bad for a little independent movie that's been playing for a solid month at the Plaza). If you haven't seen it yet, I recommend going. I went with my wife and my sister, and all three of us enjoyed it. It's a rare thing for all three of us to like the same film.
Yeah, I caught it a few nights ago, and enjoyed it (along with maybe 10 other people).

It's in the upstairs screen now, though, right? I caught it while it was still downstairs.

Need to head over there for JCVD this week, now that it's on the bigger screen.

Saw the film this weekend (though not at the Plaza). It was scrumtrulescent.

Yeah, it's in the upstairs theater now. I'm just impressed it's stuck around this long.
