What shiny faces will I be seeing at The Tara for this brilliantly delightful film?
Mine, assuming no disasters.

I sent in for a pass but haven't recieved one yet, so I'm hoping it's waiting for me when I get home. I will definitely be there assuming my pass comes. If it does not, anyone only using one half of thier admit two passes? Mind if I tag along?
I've been looking forward to this one for a while now and I've heard excellent things about it.

I'm also waiting on my pass.

My pass did indeed come in the mail today. I'm quite happy right now...and excited about the screening, I've been looking forward to see Slumdog Millionaire.

Delicious. It's such a fantastic movie. I hope the crowd is good, if so we'll have a great time.

I got mine in the mail today, too. Sensing that I might have some fun in the near future, my car decided to do as it so often does and fall apart. I've been telling my bff about this movie and that she must see it, so hopefully I'll still be able to make it!

Negotiate hard. You need to see it.
Negotiations failing so far. I've already seen it once, but I'm disgusted by all these people who won't come see it with me FOR FREE. And it's not because they have other plans. "I'm going to sit on my ass and do nothing." That's what she said. Seriously.

Well, in case I do make it... does anyone want to go out after? Taco Mac is nearby. There's possibly something even better, I just don't know that area super well beyond Lindbergh.

Some sort of shindig, happening, or other goings-on would be quite welcome.

How far away from The Tara are you Jennifer?
Pretty far. Something on this car breaks every 3 weeks or so, and so far I've been able to avoid putting it in the shop except when the transmission died a couple of years ago. Yay for mechanically-inclined dads! So hopefully I'll have my own transportation again by tomorrow.

I'm about to head that way. It's rather early, but I've got an errand or two. I should still be there over an hour early. For anyone looking I'll be in jeans and a brown, striped, collard shirt (and glasses!). I'll be with a girl in a (most likely) long green coat.

That was a hell of a movie.

I was happy to see the crowd dig it, I look forward to this movie's success. It definitely holds up the second go round, and I think that's largely due to Boyle's very rich visual style, and the three miles of heart the film has.

It was cool meeting (or reseeing) everyone!
