I've said it before and I'll say it again: thanks for taking the hit for us, Ig. I don't think I'll be running out to pick this one up any time soon. So, were there, in fact, reanimated buffalo?

Many, many of them. Among other non-human revenants. One of the more interesting - if puzzling - aspects of this work. I can't elaborate more w/o spoiling, just in case anyone wants to read this, but toward the end this part in particular leaves you scratching your head. Maybe it's just the zombie craze over saturating the market; everyone is trying do hard to write a zombie book but still be different. . .
