Capitalism Raped Me: Holiday Gift Ideas

Looking for gift ideas to give out this year and thought I'd get a Chewer perspective. It can be anything (CD, DVD, toy, widget, animal, vegetable, mineral), but I'll give two categorical suggestions:

TO BE A LEARNED MASTER

and

LEARNED OF ALL GREAT THINGS

My suggestion for category 1: Pay a person's tuition for a semester of art practice at your local community college (it should set you back about $30-60 depending on your state's funding).

2: Buy The Complete Works of Plato that Hackett put out a couple years ago. It has the best translation of his collected extant works in English and the original Greek.

If you have a kid or two in your life, I suggest buying them the children's book of King's "I have a dream..." speech, which is basically the text of the speech written over several paintings depicting the history of the American Civil Rights Movement. It also fits very well with this year's events.

You guys didn't know that the same guys who created Bawndo are behind Sex Panther? I asked for it this Christmas, but it's sold out.

Omni Consumer Products came through again. First Robocop, now Sex Panther.


Also, more gift ideas....

Hit up a Sears in your neighborhood this weekend. Hancock and Wanted are only 20 bucks on Blu-Ray. That's about 33%off normal retail.
