Your Amateur Attempts at Stand-Up

Surprisingly, there doesn't seem to be a thread on these forums regarding "Chewers" trying their hand at stand-up comedy be it consigned to rehearsing in front of a group of friends, or in front of tens at a bar. Seeing as I'm going to venture into this truly intimidating experience in January, it makes me curious to hear any experiences you guys or gals may have endured, be it overwhelmingly positive or hilariously negative.

Let's see where this goes....
