They are really not getting the Godfather.

A shame its such a poor game to go all the way out there for. Maybe they will have a sweet party for it.

So, is this going to be a "Godfather" game in that it's about the mob, but doesn't really have much to do with the Corleone family?

When is EA going to start renting an apartment in LA for Alex? I don't care if it is for a game I don't care about, I'm still jealous.

I'm loving the hate mail and comments I'm getting for covering another EA Community Day. I've got a great relationship with those guys and they like inviting me out to their events- is that my fault? If more companies invited me to more events they'd get coverage too. Jeez.

I think its just people instinctively hate EA that bad. They have been releasing alot of great games lately and people just forget all that when a game like this comes by again.

I can understand that, I just hate that knee-jerk reaction. It's not like I suck off their dick no matter what. Didn't do myself any favors with that Need for Speed review.

Maybe EA is salty about the review and this Godfather game is just a clever ruse. You'll think its all part of the show when two large men wearing fedoras throw you into the trunk of a car.

You're such a sellout Alex, you should say no to every offer of getting to try out a game ever, and never speak to anyone in the gaming press just to try and remain as untainted (and uninformed) as possible.

Only then will I feel less jealous about you being a lucky bastard. Lucky, lucky bastard.

They did say "It's only business" in the invite for this one.... hmm.

They invented a sequel to the game just to lure Alex in?

They're sneaky bastards.

They could have at least been nice and said it was about a new Desert Strike or Road Rash or something.

Alex is entering - THE DANGER ZONE!

Haha, that's great. I would think the EA of a year ago is capable of such devious intentions but they've really turned around. Now something like that would be Activision's gig.

So, it's decent. Some really cool stuff and new additions to the game (it's all about the strategy and expanding your empire), and the executions are incredibly brutal. Godfather purists will go apeshit about what they did with the story, though.

Full report coming soon.
