I think most people (mostly pundits) are going to be sad to see ol' Roddy go. He's a douchebag but has definitely provided some interesting moments.

Of course, knowing him, he'll be back in the spotlight soon. In fact, he'll probably never leave.

59 to Zero for conviction. Ouch. He was going down, sure, but I though at least one or two would vote against conviction on the "he has not even been indicted yet" grounds.
It was fun while it lasted. It gave us in California a rare chance to laugh at someone else's state Government for a change.

They also voted to ban him from every holding Illinois State Office again. I don't know if that will stand up in a court of law, but I think it was a way of telling Blago the chances of a "comeback" are very,very,slim.

People have made political combacks. But trying to sell the vacant seat of the guy who became president. There's no going back.

Since his trial probably won't be over untill the next set of primaries/elections there was no way anyone would vote to keep him. His sister in law who voted agains impeachmen in the House(2nd vote) should be in trouble.

Just about. The guy couldn't stay away from the cameras. He was trying to get kids on tv with him in the crowd.
