The neo-cons are really losing the plot now...

Wow, some people in America actually believe this shit? Nah, I shouldn't relegate this to one country - neo-cons the world over are building an elaborate fantasy for themselves to live in. I can imagine O'Reilly waxing poetic like he started reading Philip K. Dick: "These aren't weeds I'm forced to feed my family, this is a fine Greek salad misconstrued by a Liberal reality..."

Agree, and you can tell who watches, listens and reads to them because they have such a distorted, fact-averse view of reality. I was so happy that my brother, a republican who voted for McCain "for the party" (scary words to hear outside of WWI-era Germany) and listens to Glenn Beck, has the sense to recognize that Obama is an ethical President-Elect who intends to do what's best for the country.

These guys are so deeply deluded, it is mystifying. Still, good to know that's all they've got!

Keep in mind this is from the same set of ideologues who think this is just a mental recession, so this is just the latest repackaging of the same old argument. At least they're consistent.

To be fair, all economic phenomena is mental. If people kept spending like there was no tomorrow, we'd be fine.

But, yes, they're insane.

You can't pay for stuff with mental dollars when your hands are empty, so in that way, maybe it's mental.
