Selling ALL of my Star Wars shit!

That's right... I'm done. I'm selling it all, including the used Underoos.

I have a lot of Star Wars items to get rid of but the featured item(s) just in time for the Christmas season... 208 UNOPENED STAR WARS FIGURES. That's right... 208!

The auction for the figures begins on Monday morning so you might not be able to access the link above until then but I wanted to give you guys a heads up on what is available.

Even if you aren't interested, take a look at the auction just to see the unbelievably long and meticulously detailed list of figures up for grabs that I spent my Saturday evening working on. That way I can say it was worth it!

Check out my other items up for grabs.

I'll update this space to let you know what else is on the auction block.

The link for the 208 figures seems to be dead.

Man, I wish I had the energy to get rid of all my STAR WARS stuff. I've got boxes and boxes of vintage (1977-1983) merch, a lot of it still unopened. But it all just sits in my garage, like the crates seen at the end of RAIDERS.

I did the same thing a few years back, I paid off my credit card with what I sold..but I did keep my Ralph McQuarrie signed prints. Now those I can't give up. Litmus, do you by any chance have a stromtropper figure from 1977, still in its box? not like I can afford it..just curious if you do.
I might, I'd have to check. I know I have a 1980 EMPIRE Stormtrooper sill on the card. The rarest STAR WARS carded figure I have is Boba Fett, when they first tease-announced the character with THE STAR WARS HOLIDAY SPECIAL.

I remember traveling to London in the mid-80s and seeing shitloads of carded Anakin Skywalkers serving as unwanted pegwarmers on sale. I could have paid for my trip with those bastards. If I had only known...

Like I noted... it's because the auction hasn't begun yet. Should be working by this afternoon.

Sorry, I guess I was thrown by this:

Made it sound very past-tense-y.

Yeah, that makes sense. I had to make it so it would start and stop at a decent time for our friends on the west coast. I think it will start at 1pm EST.

Sorry for the confusion.

Sorry to bump into this thread but I have about three boxes of Star Wars figures on my attic. more than hundred of characters and dozens of spaceships and the like. They have been around my whole childhood and all are used for playing.
Is this shit worth anything or should I rather try to get some money at a recycle company?

Depends on what series it's from. Is it pre or post Power of the Force?

And Jason, good luck. There isn't a big market for those figures anymore. Funny thing is you might get more for them if they were a loose lot.

I've seen those accessory packs go for good amount in the past.

Sorry. I have no clue what you are talking about. But they have been bought originally by my cousin whom I have inherited them from in the early eighties. But thanks for the answer anyway. Appreciated.

And good luck Jason!

If it's from the 80's it would probably be worth putting on Ebay. There is still a good market for the original Kenner stuff.

You should post some pics.

God... who knows. At least since 1996. I stopped collecting them once I hit college buy my mom insisted I keep collecting and kept buying them for me. They sat in my bedroom in my parents house after I moved out and only recently did I decide to take them off of their hands. Everything is piled up in one of my spare bedrooms and I'm slowly selling everything off. It's time for me to move on, as you can see.

If you can't move it on eBay, you might have a look to see if any sci-fi conventions are coming to your area.

I had 8 of the old Hallmark Star Trek Xmas tree ornaments, and sold them to a rabid fan for $1800, so it might be worth your while to catch someone who is a compulsive impulse buyer.

Man, that's a lot of toys. Are these worth anything? They're not the originals from the 70s/80s, nor are they the first run of the prequel ones, but rethreads of the OT action figures. I wonder what their value is.

Well... seems that mine are worth the $400 I set the reserve as. They sold this afternoon. So... $1.92 a figure; WAY LESS than what we paid for them when they were released.

I will be glad to be rid of them, though.

Just put a bunch of new items up for bids.

Expect some older and rarer goods down the pipe in the new year!

Just saw your original listing and this cracked me up...

This lot would make a great gift for any Star Wars collector that wants to start a collection or would like to expand their collection in one fail swoop.
Intentional?

Pretty much. Imagine trying to write an item description minutes after finishing inputting all of that damn data for all 208 figures.
Yeah, I probably would have gone insane.
Reading that listing made me kinda sad, why would anyone need 208 anything Star Wars?

Double that and that's what I started with.

Until I found 23 more figures in my old bedroom this weekend. Ugh.
Is the buyer paying for the shipping? Its probably gonna cost a fortune.
I have a box of the figures from the mid-nineties. They're opened, and in little Ziploc bags. The sculpts are actually horrible, and some of the the figures are all "buffed" out. I can't believe I ever thought there was anything neat about them at all. Hell, if you only got $400 for 208 mint, I'd probably be lucky to get $50 for all of mine.

This thread reminds me that I have to sell some of my Transformers collection and hopefully for good prices.

Not really. Spread across a number of boxes... wasn't more than 50 bucks.

Awesome.

The saddest thing I've seen is over on the Rebelscum boards. Some of those people will buy 20-50 of the same trooper figure, and built armies of hundreds of figures.

Scroll down and laugh/weep:

That is indeed sad.

"Spread it on!"

My favorite? The clonetrooper second from the right, weaponless and shrugging it off like a champ.
