Even though I'm Northern Irish, I figure we should have a strong inter-Celtic rapport. You a football fan?

I've only been to Scotland once, Livingston to be more precise. Didn't get a chance to see much unfortunately, but man did I have a hard time understanding the Scottish accent. One guy I spoke with sounded almost like a Klingon to me!

Ah, good stuff. You're flying, with Mr. Levein! Fair play.

Like many before me around these parts, I inherited an Old Firm club. Rangers, in my case. I'm not militant about it at all. My brother just got me into them when I was really young and I don't ditch a team.

That gave me a much-needed Christmas Day laugh. Scottish is easily in my top 3 favourite accents of all time.

Among the many things I miss about uni, driving up in the packed car with all my books and that through Scotland to get the boat back home ranks very highly. It's got beauty like you read about.

I hate the Old Firm !!!

You need to get a better team than that mate !!!!

Theres a guy on here called Abt and he supports Dundee. They are just as bad as the Old Firm if not worse

There was a time - 2000 through 2003 or so - when my passion for the 'Gers got so intense that supporting them eventually became a hassle. I was taking it way too seriously. I'm better now and can appreciate how annoying the Old Firm must be on the outside. Still don't think I could change colours, though. Once a Blue-Nose, always a Blue-Nose!

Truthfully, I never found any clubs that annoying (except the Bhoys, of course.) Maybe Hibs or Aberdeen when they piled ten men behind the ball and tried to rattle us, at a push.

Cheers! Happy New Year to you (and all others) too! I'm dead-on, thanks. How about you?

By the way, I'm sincerely puzzled by some of what's been said earlier.

What did you make of the game today, Stuart? I'm not bringing it up to gloat or anything (seriously), I just love seeing Our Kyle getting on the score-sheet.
