I don't know who that is. But frankly these kids go through more shit than the vets of WW2.

That's part of the attraction, I think, the ludicrous nature of it all. This girl I dated loved Degrassi and once explained to me all the different things various characters had gone through. It took a while.

Darcy is the good girl who took noodz of herself on the internet. It's the chick that's on 90210 now.

Damn right, I was watching some of this Degrassi new class stuff last night and I have no idea what's going on. Not that I cared, but the amount of crises that happend.

Although I was laughing my ass off at Marco who is supposed to be the gay kid. Mind you I don't know shit about fashion. But you have got to be kidding me.

Three words: high school lesbians.

Pretty sure the show is for teenagers or tweens. That might have something to do with it.

I've only caught a few episodes, the school shooting one, the aftermath to that, then the one where the kid becomes a bum for an episode because of manic depression, and I think maybe a few others. Don't know if those are from the new adventures or not. Exciting, dramatic times....

Isn't this the same bullshit that Kevin Smith dared to show up in alongside Heroin Jay?

Yes it is.

Degrassi is awesome, if only for their willingness to tackle so many issues that American shows wouldn't touch. The very first episode of the Next Generation features a 14-year-old girl nearly getting raped by a cyber predator! Where are you going to see that on US TV without Chris Hansen interrupting?

I've not watched this show (it seems to be a Canadian version of 'Hollyoaks'), but I like the cut of Shenae Grimes's jib.
