Must-read issue. When I heard BKV and Harris would be making actual appaerances in the comic, I was skeptical. The series as a whole hasn't touched Y:TLM, but is still on my pull list. Well, fuck me for doubting. BKV and Harris create a terrific stand-alone story while poking quite a bit of fun at themselves. One of my favourite issues all year.

And it finishes with a bit by Garth Ennis and Jim Lee - great little Christmas present.

Shit, I need to catch up a bit on this series. I have every issue mid-way through the '04 convention.

I'm switching to TPBs but I love Ex Machina just as much a Y. I don't know why it isn't as well loved by the mainstream the was Y is.
