You guys all bitch about the lack of rep... here's a chance to make up for it. We'll assign 2008 Chewer Awards. Good and bad. Here are some category ideas

Thirded. Phil tells it like it is, he calls 'em as he sees 'em, etc.

McCartney gets my vote for funniest. I enjoy his wacky sense of humor/opinions.

Devin wins for best put-downs.

Fleed for most fanboyish.

Ambler for most tolerable in 2009.

Spike for least likely to have fun.

Tie between Andre Dellamorte and DaveB for most thoughtful.

Darkmite for best horror enthusiast.

Trying to avoid typing more ridiculous categories, so here are nominations to chew on (pun not intended, but more or less embraced after seeing it):

The Andre Dellamorte Biggest Cinephile Cup - Is Beaks eligible since he don't work here no more? Him or Spike.

Poster who posts least about movies - InTheShadows, before and after McCartney's vaporization.

The Barry Woodward One Trick Pony Award - Easy. Fleed.

The Raging Bull Most Abuse Taken Award - McCartney. Hate him if you must, but he pretty much ONLY posts about movies, and has a scary wealth of knowledge about the films he loves ironically. Debate is good, even if it's about the merits of the shittier James Bond films and the tv career of Tony Curtis; posting about your sick relatives day in day out is not.

All Around Good Guy - Swice. You'll have to convince me he and his special lady didn't turn Ohio around single-handedly. Good people.

Dunno what all the MVP love is about, but I'll put a soft hold on Satcheen Littlefeather for acceptance speech duties, just in case.

I can't remember the context of this, but Moltisanti was suggesting a modern day Predator would change Blaine to a girl. Someone said it was ridiculous, as Blaine ain't got time to bleed. It would have to be Hawkins. That was the best joke.

Or Molti himself mentioning Estelle Getty survived long enough to Dark Knight, but only once.

I have no idea what was said to IntheShadows, but anything that banished him gets my vote.
