You wanted the follow-up to 10 Days of 13: CHUD Goes to Crystal Lake?

It starts Monday. It's called Star Trekkin'. It's ludicrous in scope. Here's a peek:

(Thanks, of course, to Litmus Configuration for the image)

Oh my.
That's a pretty amazing picture. Litmus wins in the chewer awards hands down.
I look forward to the series. I used to be all about Trek, but it totally lost me some time soon after the first season of Deep Space Nine.

He made a second image as well. It's AMAZING but I'm saving it for the actual series.

It better be you drinking some Tranya.

If Litmus has high(er)-resolution versions, you should totally get prints made for yourself.

And it wasn't this one:

(Thanks for the kind words, everyone.)

That is among the ten most frightening things the internet has shown me.

Litmus, you beautiful bastard.
Those pictures are great. Litmus is one magnificently gifted artist. Looking forward to the new articles.
That picture. Awesome.
Outstanding picture and I can't wait for this new installment.
This is gonna be good, y'all.
Stanley Kubrick and James T. Kirk - together at last!

Just taking the piss. That's some A-grade work there, Litmus.

That's just surreal.
Face it. This is the coolest moment of your geeky ten year olds life.
Looking forward to the series (and fantastic job Litmus, those are some unbelievable pics you created for devin).
Those two pictures are fantastic.

Devin's playing Harry Mudd in the reboot's animated spin-off? AWESOME.

oh, it looked like he was dressed up as Sgt. Pepper.. awesome job!
Nice follow-up. Litmus rules.
I just realized animated Kirk looks more like Chris Pine than Shatner in that still.
Devin I thought your 10 Days of 13 series was terrific and being a ST fan myself, am really looking forward to this (Don't expect to agree with all your views, but will read with pleasure nonetheless). And if it has spectacular shots (sure to haunt my dreams) like the one you posted above, I can already see this will be something special.
This is going to be great. Also, just how epic in scope are we talking? Watching *everything* Trek would take an unbelievable chunk out of your life and could kill lesser men. If it's just the films and selected episodes of the myriad series, that'll be more than epic enough.
Can we just place Litmus in the CHUD pantheon now? He can be the god of awesome (patron saint is Neil Patrick Harris).
Awesome images. The first one is eerie.
Looking forward to the series!
that is some damn fine work, Litmus.

I was going to say, that looks eerily like a Star Trek/Yellow Submarine crossover.

Damn, that is ambitious. It's already worth it just for the Litmus photos.
Sounds terrific and good luck keeping up with that schedule. I hope you can pull it off and we'll be digging the fuck out of it.
I am pretty excited for this.
Very ambitious, Devin.

Be careful about that. Too many similar submissions will get CHUD placed on the spam list, and you can talk to Matt Goldberg about how much of a pain in the ass that is.
Looking forward to this
...it is the 'End of Times'...

REPENT, Fuckers!
Wow. This sounds so epic it should really end up being published as a book.

I hope you get all geeky about the "improvements" made for the remastered TOS episodes. Personally, I think many of them are STAR WARS SE-inappropriate, while others are surprisingly well-handled.

Care to share?
'Doomsday Machine', for example.
Seconded. When it's all over, you should seriously consider publishing it as a book. A la Vern.

Shit, I'd buy it. Particularly since I will want to go back and revisit it myself while re-reading your articles.

Good luck with this.

(A suggestion - You might want to go ahead and review all the feature films, even those that don't feature the original cast, if only to maintain a sense of cinematic continuity -does that make sense?- as I imagine that your big climax to all this will be the actual review of JJ Abrams' Star Trek.)
Looking forward to it. Judging by recent Star Trek discussions on the boards and (dear God ...) the talkbacks, this will be interesting.
I love the idea. Not only as a series for the site, but also as the physical challenge you're setting yourself on. Also, as someone who never watched the original series that much, perhaps you can draw me in as well.

I am saddened to see your Manga-esque profile pic go though.
Anybody know of plans to release the remasters on Blu Ray? I didn't cave to the temptation to get them on HD-DVD, so now I'm holding out.

Really looking forward to the feature, too. It's something I've never worked up the gumption to do myself. I think that the third season is going to get pretty painful. Spock's Brain? I shudder to imagine how that's going to feel after all that.
The new year is starting off with greatness.
I have been watching all tos for the first time the last few weeks because of all the praise Devin has given them. I am really looking forward to this column.
Litmus, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the new effects. I haven't seen anything jarring yet - all very respectful, but I haven't seen every one, and might have deleted a couple ("Catspaw", "Turnabout Intruder", etc.) off my DVR without watching.

I think the episodes get pretty hit-and-miss a bit into season 2, but debating such things is going to be the fun of this series.
I hope this is such a success that Devin goes on to review the Next Gen and Deep Space Nine. We can just forget what comes after.
I think that we can more or less proceed on the assumption that that isn't happening. Devin seems to like Next Generation even less than I do, which is impressive.
Won't happen.

I do fully support the Book idea though. IF you ever go that route, you can expand to the other series.
