Aussie-Kiwi film release dates...

Heya guys, thought I'd start this thread because a few of the films that get discussed around here simply either don't have aussie-kiwi release dates locked in, or if they do I can't find them. So I thought we could pop in here to try and find out release dates for upcoming films together.

This all started because I cannot for the life of me track down the aussie release dates for CHE parts 1 & 2 anywhere on the net. So if anyone knows that one, let me know.

But again, if you can't work out an antipodean release date, pop in here and we'll all try to find out for each other.

That's generally what I check but they change the dates so often with some films it's not 100% accurate all the time.

Good site DM, but Che isn't there either - I can only assume it doesn't have a date here yet.

Pretty sure Che hasn't actually found itself an Australian distrubuter so there won't be any release dates for that for a bit longer.

I normally just go to the Rialto NZ website and check their coming soon section. No sign of Che yet, but I'm pretty sure it'll turn up.

Thanks Mike, thats another good site actually. I simply have mto believe that NZ release dates are basically the same as here - and if thats the case Let The Right One In comes out in a week!!!! WOOT!!!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'm pretty sure we don't get Let the Right One In for at least another month...closer to the end of Jan. Happy to be proven wrong on this one. Very happy.

Yes we really are quite spoilt here in Auckland. I actually had the opportunity to see Let the Right One In 6 months ago at the Auckland Film Fest, but at the time the name didn't register with me. Will soon remedy that, say on the 8th of January or thereabouts.

Fuckwit that I am turned down a chance to see it at the Melbourne International Film Festival. Friend had tickets to a "some European vampire film" and I passed.

Not sure if this is the right thread for such a thing, but Doubt and The Wrestler both have advance screenings this weekend in Sydney and Melbourne.

As for Let The Right One In, I last heard February for Australia (from a friend who had contacted the distributor). Strangely, IMDb still has it listed as Boxing Day.

EDIT: Actual word from Rialto Distribution is that they had to push the date back to February, and that it will be screening for certain at Cinema Nova Carlton in Melbourne in Feb.
