Happy New Year everyone.

I'll be at home taking care of mom and some family are coming over which will make things a little more festive. Playing some board games (remember those?), lots of snacks and drinks.

Those who are venturing out tonight, have fun but please be careful.

Rather sedate evening here -- the fiancee's been sick and has to be at work at 6am, so I just woke her up at midnight for a quick kiss and a swig of champagne. But happy New Year all!

That's honestly the best most hopeful thing about this year I ever could have hoped for Swice, so believe me mate the whole world is waiting those 20 sleeps. It's like grown-up christmas times a hundred

I'm just setting at home chillin'. Nowhere to party in my town since they passed a smoking ban last year and most of the bars closed. Well, the sleazy ones when a gent can get laid at anyway.

Passed New Year's Eve drinking crazy-strong local stouts and introducing one of the housemates to No Country for Old Men. A great but perhaps not optimistic note to go out on.

The first hour and a half of 2009 has been good, though, and surely it can only get better once I sober up right?

Fuck everyone I know who isn't on this board, though. With the constant text messaging and cell phone calls that people experience at New Years, I didn't get a goddamn thing. This was the cherry on top of a bunch of middle fingers I have received from so-called "friends". Fuck it, I'm tired of this crap and moving on in the new year.

Had a remarkable dinner with the girlfriend, then went to her cousins to see all the fireworks in that neighborhood. I also loaned the girlfriend my car so she can go to work tomorrow, since her's crapped out, and we've been trying to get a vehicle, but no one wants go give us a loan based on "limited credit". Fuck 'em. I bet if the economy wasn't in the shitter the banks would have approved us immediately.

Oh yeah, happy new year to everyone hear on the beloved boards. If it wasn't for this message board I'd just be perusing the internet rather than having engaging conversations.

2009 is going to be great!

Had a great dinner with my family, then had several drinks after midnight watching the fireworks, went to a friend's house for some more drinks and music (his family plays the guitar and sings), then went to a club and had some fun.
Now it's almost 8 am and i'm ready to sleep

Have a great New Year, 2009 will kick major ass!

Stayed up all night at a friend's house... Got home at 6:30 this morning. Slept til now. Not hung over despite the tremendous amounts of wine and caipirinhas that I ingested.

Happy New Year to my fellow chewers. 2008 was pretty fucking uneven for me. But I'm hoping 09 is less so.

I also hope I get to know some of the rest of you (in other words, those of you outside the B-Action Thread) better this year. Many of you seem like cool people.
