Time for an update on me

yo, I posted here a while ago about writing a script(specifically a Superman script). Well, I came to the conclusion that instead of writing scripts that it would be better to write a novel. What amazes me about society today is that very few people actually read anymore. For the fact that novels seem to be a dying art, I want to atleast write novel that gets people interested in literature.

I am writing a spaghetti western with my brother as the main character. Essentially, its a western that combines horror elements(think something similiar to the Dark Tower as inspiration). I have used the character of "Blueberry" as a main source of reference. I am REALLY inspired by the work of Jean Giraud(aka Mobieus)as visual look.

If any of you are interested I will gladly lay out an outline to the story. I will be awaiting feedback...later..

Alright I'll give an update, I have decided to not disclouse really any deep information at this time(I have to get this crap trademarked...I hope you understand). Right now, I am drawing storyboards(I am an experienced illustrator)that could be converted into either a movie or a comic book. I would rather do it as a comic book because I think I could transition this character into novels easier. This isn't a simple yarn that I am creating...its an entire mythology(Gothic, Asian mythology as inspiration). I also add personal philosophy on life and how people SHOULD act.(its a parable for my life of sorts)When I finish the work I am doing, I should have a short story, storyboards, and temp music as reference.

This material could be VERY easily converted into a script. So my propostion to those on this board(I am making no gurantees that this will be a huge success)is that if you are an experienced script writer, I will give you first dibs to transition this into a script(giving me story credit of course, and adaptation credit for yourself). I don't look at this work as one man's vision, its a collaboration of sorts(I even have a tech advisor). I have cycled this material around various bookstores and comic books. The feedback has been extremely positive. This could potentially be our generation's "Star Wars", not to say that it will actually happen that way(all I really want is a way to break into the industry).

With all this said, I want to take as many people I can along for the ride. The only thing I ask is that you respect my creative output. This story is VERY personal to me(Money is only a secondary drive as motivation for this work). In essence, I am trying to build a mythology of what it means to be an American. So I picked the most romanticised period in our short history....westerns.
