Oh. My. God.

Yes.

Dead-oh Ri-jing!

I'd consider giving this a second shot on the 360 if they could just patch away the bullshit clock and add some save spots. Such wasted potential

looks fun

I remember reading a bit of hate for this on Kotaku, specifically regarding the graphics (less zombies onscreen, supposedly) and the controls.

I really hope all of these are fixed or at least the game balances out said problems with awesomeness, because I wanted to love Dead Rising much more than I actually did.

I kind of loved it.

Is there a thread about the original Dead Rising here? I wanna know what you guys thought of the game.

The only one I found was before the game was actually released. The game is fun, and when you first start playing it you'll wonder how anyone could ever find any fault with it. And then you get killed and are forced to play through the entire beginning again. And then you run into the clown boss who juggles with chainsaws. It gets really goofy and irritating at parts.

It's the only 360 game where I got every achievement. I was sick for two weeks and played about ten hours a day because there was nothing else to do. Thankfully I did it on my roommate's 360 so I have none of the achievement points.

My love for Dead Rising verges on embarrassing. The single save slot can be frustrating, but it makes survival in the mall actually meaningful and difficult. Fuck this Wii stuff- I want a sequel.

I thought that originally, but any new Dead Rising content is good news to me. It also gives me an excuse to take my Wii out of the box for the second time in two years.

Oh hells yes. Improved Dead Rising and a new entry onto the Wii? Greatness.

I envy you 360 and Wii guys. Are there any plans to bring DEAD RISING to PS3? Or can anyone recommend a comparable non-RESIDENT EVIL zombie game for PS3?

The AI in Dead Rising fucking sucked. I beat the 3 day part of the game but had no interest in going further. Which is a shame. I've never been so angry at a game yet continued to play it like this one. If they make a sequel that fixes some of the issues I'll be all over it.

Bah! The mall survivors were indeed hapless morons, but that made rescuing them all that more rewarding. If they could have found their own way back to mall HQ, they already would have done it.

I've been meaning to buy the 360 version since I beat it about two years ago. Before this flood of Mass Effects, and Halo 3's THIS was the great sleeper for Xbox that I had more fun with than Call Of Duty 2 etc.

I am so in for this Wii second go.

I still have my copy for the 360 in hopes of one day getting a patch for the issues we gamers had with the game. This port seems pretty cool but a full on sequel would've been better. Same concept but a different and much bigger mall.
