Both of those sound brilliant. Will you be doing a review when it comes out do you think?

Possibly- I'm going to try to get an ARC. Hopefully! Let you guys know if I do.

I'm a little pissed that my local library doesn't have a copy of Towing Jehovah- I absolutely need to read that series. Apparently in the book a group of Athiests try to stop the boat from dragging God to the tomb because they want to destroy the body, and eliminate the evidence of His existence.

Sounds too good to be true, really.

I read Towing Jehovah a long time ago, vaguely remember it but the impression was that the execution didn't live up to the premise.

Damn, was worried about that. You read the others in the series?

No, and reading up on the series, I may want to give the first book another shot.

Towing Jehova is okay. Bummed to hear that it's a series, though. Can't anything be left alone?

I've read the second book in the series (Blameless in Abaddon), in which a team of lawyers or something travel inside the body of God. I remember it being pretty good, but I never did get around to checking out the rest of the series.

As for Shambling Toward Hiroshima, it sounds kinda weird, but as I'm a kaiju fan, I'll be checking it out as soon as possible. It's been added to my Amazon wish list for the time being, but I'm eager to read it.
