Well, I caved (snicker).

There is nothing good about this movie. Where the first movie felt claustrophobic and tense, this one felt like a stage play on a cheap set. Where the first movie embraced darkness, this one has EVERYTHING bathed in light. Every goddamn scene is a callback to a scene in the original. What an irritating pile of useless shit.

Revising my initial "nothing good about this" statement: Juno does remind me of Olivia Munn. And the rat scene is cheap and silly, but funny.

They were trying for Aliens, but only managed a Halloween 2. It's competant, but utterly superfluous and pedestrian.

The Juno retcon was fucking ridiculous given how DEAD she was in the first movie. Did we really need "closure" on her apology to Sarah? Not me.

Having said that, someone needs to build an action franchise around Natalie Mendoza. Please.
