Are you being compensated for these endorsements?

Have a good time, folks. I have to work tomorrow plus I am sick, so I won't be running into any of you at the Javits Center. Please, for the love of all that is good in the world, someone get a picture of Fleed. That's all I want for Christmas.
Aw man, we should have kept more of an eye out for Fleed. No idea you were there.

Ok, so anyone who wants to meet up for lunch! I'm assuming we're all going to be heading to the IGN theater for the WB panel, so when it finishes hang a right and meet over by the bathrooms. I'll have my Fright Rags CHUD shirt on for anyone I haven't met who wants to come by. Not sure what you guys want for lunch, there's an extremely overpriced food court right there, and a few places within walking distance- Mickie D's, Gray's, etc. Not much of a selection around there, really. But we'll figure something out.

Alex Riviello, I am also going to the WB panel at the...Ign theater. I also will be going to the Marvel Animation panel at 1:45-2:45 today, The Yatterman Showing at 8:30 Tonight, The Activision/Marvel Preview at 11:15 Sunday morning. Today I will be wearing a Black Dolphin Hooded Sweatshirt, and Sunday I will be wearing a Blue Dolphin Jersey with Zach Thomas' 54 emblazoned on it. I did post yesterday though...That I would be at the premiere of...Wonder Woman. I hope I see some or all of you guys and gals at NYCC either today or tomorrow.

To paraphrase John Connor, who paraphrased Kyle Reese, who paraphrased John Connor, "There IS no Fleed, but what we make for ourselves..."

THINK about it people!

So, at about 8:30 on Friday morning I started feeling a bit under the weather while mingling on the show floor, and by 9:00 I was in the bathroom by the IGN theater throwing my guts up. It's been that way since and I'm about to book a flight home today because I'm so deathly ill I need to see a doctor before my organs start showing up in the toilet.

What a trip.

Juat got back from my expedition. Had a blast, as usual. No panel discussions or screenings, just a relentless (& ultimately successful) hunt for back issues of Creepy; I spent an embarrassingly large amount on them this year. My backpack's never been so heavy. I then met up w/ JCassidy & Riviello, & we did a quick lunch (after bumbling around inside the center trying to find each other for about an hour; who knew there were three (at least) Hudson News stands inside Javits?). Alex gave me a big stack of books to review, as well. I spoke to Cordo in the afternoon, and was sorry to hear he didn't make it to the Center today, and thus couldn't join us. Hope you're feeling better soon, Eric. Sadly, no Fleed sightings. Maybe Alex & Jon had (or will tomorrow have) better luck. See you all next year, I hope!

I hear Mastodon was there, somewhere.

Well...I was at a few panels...the WB, Wizard Magazine, Marvel Animation, Krod Mandoon and The Flaming Sword Of Fire. KMATFSOF looks like it will be the first humorous sword and sorcery series since...Wizards And Warriors left the air. The only thing that was negative at this years
NYCC was that tonights...Yatterman screening was cancelled.

Who gives a shit about Fabfunk? The lack of Fleed pictures makes this thread a tremendous fail. In fact, the whole NYCC is a failure because of that, Takashi Miike or not.

Yeah, and why are you reading his livejournal anyway?

Trust me, Martin, we were looking for him the whole time. 90k people or something there, though...

I spent the last day and a half in the hospital with endless IV drips and doctors looking at me saying, "Sucks to be you." Everyone has that one trip that gets ruined because they're horribly sick. Hopefully this was my one trip.

I'm very annoyed that I missed the Watchmen panel. My buddies couldn't wait to tell me what I missed.

Did you met Fleed in person, and because so your body couldn't cope with the experience thus breaking down and erasing every memories of it?

Unfortunately, no. Just plain ol' God hates me sickness.

Girls doing cosplay as Silk Spectre (both versions) serving you the beers and wings, while giving you all backrubs as you watch football.

Also back issues of Creepy and Eerie.
And once again Fleed tricks everyone into believing he actually exists.
Duke Fleed is CHUD's own Chubacabra. But with a beer belly.
Martin Savage, Sorry...I do not drink beer, wine, or anything alcoholic.

Bitches Leave, I do exist...I just didn't run into anyone.

I stand corrected. And it was me brought up the beer, Duke. I meant for the rest of us, the enjoyment of which enhanced by your company, of course.

Fleed's like our white whale. Maybe I'll write a book about the quest. Chapter One: Call me Igmael. . .

IggyTheBorg, Do you mean...Call you...Igshmael? In this scenario that I am...The White Whale...who is...Captain Ahab?

I know this isn't the thread, but it's a bit to early to start one - Who's going to SDCC? I'll be there with my drinkin' shoes. And my drinkin' hat. Everything else is mostly for the hangovers.

ETA: Just remembered the thread in the Regional forums about it. Guess that answers my question.

Well, since I'm one of Riviello's minions, I guess he's Cap'n Ahab. Yaaahhrr!

"There she blows!--there she blows! A hump like a snow-hill! It is Moby FLEED!"
Timothy225, As Mobyfleed...do I have to sing any of his songs? I am not so sure that would add up to a...Whale of a time.
