The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982) - Page 2

I don't think a film like this is possible any more. The last time we had something close to this was the first few seasons of Hercules The Legendary Journeys and maybe Xena.

Apart from any sequels to the above mentioned movies, what else is there?
There's THE WARRIOR & THE SORCERESS, featuring a hung-over David Carradine.

You could tack DRAGONSLAYER or even EXCALIBUR on to that list, but they're not exactly shoestring productions.

'Dragonslayer' and 'Excalibur' (and to a certain extent, 'Conan the Barbarian') are in a different league from what we're talking about here.

That being said, I love both of these films that you've mentioned.

I think there's a decent R4 release of this movie. Been thinking of importing it since I never did see it back in the day. Curious to see how the sequel turns out for this one and Hawk the Slayer.

Any other R4 DVDs worth throwing into the shopping cart along with The Sword and the Sorcerer? I hate ordering just one DVD when I import stuff.
