Starts next week in the states. Any word? Hope he doesn't go out on a generic cop show. Filming sounded tough:

I saw the interview with Patwick on ABC this week. I always liked the guy as an actor, but I have a new respect for him now. He's just got an amazing attitude.

I saw his interview with Barbara WaWa; he didn't look too good but he seemed as upbeat as he could be. Her questions were heartless, however...

"How much longer do you think you have?"

"What is your wife going to do when you're gone?"

I'm surprised nobody has punched this bitch square in the face. I understand he was there to talk about his illness, but Jesus Christ...

I'm gonna give it a look-see solely based on the fact that Swayze put himself through the ringer to get this show made.

I'm also glad that networks are finally starting to develop new shows again versus lame-ass reality shows.

It's a shame that A&E had to resort to becoming a mostly reality show network in order to stay viable.

Sepinwall called it the best performance of Swayze's career, which isn't saying much, but the review was impressive enough that I want to check it out now.

Some men 'act'. Swayze simply IS.

That's the genius of the Swayze.

Nothing will top his work on Point Break.

Nothing will top his Chippendales Dancer skit (with Chris Farley) from SNL.

Not so hot. Riddled with clichés. But I'll give it a couple more shots to see if it can build on the mild twist of its premise and because it's nice to see D'Angelo Barksdale working.

So I guess it never got better? Starts soon over here, might check it out.

This guy says it's better than 'The Shield', which I'm pretty sure is bull.

Think I bailed after the 3rd episode.

They keep bouncing off the main story. I'm not sure this one is going to stick without a big push.

I only watched the first two episodes before I bailed. It definitely struck me as something that wanted to be in the vein of The Shield - but it's ridiculous for anyone to suggest it's better. Swayze was okay, but I found his young sidekick intolerable. The best thing about the show, was that they had some really nice location shooting in Chicago.

Yup, Swazye is good and Chicago makes an interesting backdrop - with the bleak weather, the river and the elevated trains running through the city - but that's about it.

Reasonably entertaining, but nothing new. If it gets renewed I might watch a couple of episodes. Swayze's character is basically an FBI version of Vik Mackey, but the writing is nowhere near as good and is very cliched.
