So What?

I'm not a Pink fan by any stretch, but I heard this new song of hers at the bar tonight, and I noticed for the first time that I really like her "rock star, I'm an asshole in a world of Jessica Simpsons, attitude. Check it out.

There's something hot about a crazy blond driving her lawnmower down the road with a beer in hand.

I find her faux-rockstar attitude annoying, she's talented but it always seems like she's trying too hard to me.

I have no problem with her setting herself apart that doesn't mean I don't find her 'look at me, I'm so tough' attitude annoying.

My roommate had a friend who worked at a swanky hotel in NYC. Pink arrived with her entourage and was treated like any other guest.
Angered, she says "Don't you know who I am? I'm Pink!"

To which he replies, "So?"

Yeah she is. That chick is OH so annoying. I completely agree with the "trying too hard" sentiment. What's sad is she's actually a fairly talented singer and she's wasting it on these stupid, wannabe-bad-ass pop songs. And this song is especially is just awful. No offense, glad you dig it and all - but sheesh. Crap like this is why I hate terrestrial radio.

I think you're all missing the point. She's a mainstream pop star. Shouldn't we actually all be talking about her body instead of her music? God knows it's a hell of alot more interesting.

Pink's body, not so much.

I remember hearing this song months ago, and listening to the words, I kind of laughed at the way she acts like her ex-husband was a nobody when she married him. He's probably richer than she is. And I also laughed at how in this song, she references Jessica Simpson after doing the same to Britney Spears in a song a few years back.

If he'd have said, "We treat all our guests the same regardless of color," I'd have made him Emperor of the World.

She's the bitch rock star all the time? New image my ass. I've been LIED to.

She's damn annoying. Her music simply focuses on 'attitude' instead of fucking. That is the difference between her and Britney Spears.

Nothing wrong with a song about attitude when you're drunk at a bar dancing away. It's all about atmosphere I suppose.

I like her well enough. She can sing, and she actually seems to have opinions. Her lyrics aren't superb, but if that Stupid Girls song made even one Junior High School girl reconsider giving a bathroom handjob, then props to her.

Like I said, she's talented I just find her obnoxious, you could probably make the argument that plenty of male artists act that way and get a free pass but what can I say, at the end of the day, I just don't like her.

Winner.

Her stuff at its best is catchy as hell; at its worst, annoying, and easily avoidable. But if I had teenage daughters, I'd let them listen to her long before the name of Britney Spears was uttered in my house.
