This decade had a lot of good anti bush music, skits, shows, whatever. What are your favorites?

I pick "Black Bush" from Chappelle's show and Mosh by Eminem.

The XBOX killer episode of The Boondocks.

Gotta be the last eight years of the Daily Show. I don't know what they'll do now, with Obama and their depleted crew, but there was a period, about 2002 till Katrina, where Jon Stewart was the only thing convincing me the species wasn't fucked.

Off topic to the thread but...WRT Jon Stewart -- quite literally the only post 9/11 response that actually moved me to tears.

Will Ferrell's impersonation.

I wish I could have seen "You're Welcome America".

I'm seeing You're Welcome America Feb. 2nd. Can't wait.

Letterman's gotten some pretty good zingers in at the Administration, too. "A Moment with George W. Bush."

Strategery.

God help me, but every time I think of Bush, I think of Will Ferrell and THAT word.
Exactly. There was just a shit ton of unfunny Bush jokes over the past eight years. For whatever reason, Ferrel just nailed it.

Stephen Colbert at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. One of the most brilliant pieces of satire in the history of American comedy.

Yeah. You couldn't be more "in your face" than that. He was like 6 feet away.

This, and also "Great Moments in Presidential Speeches" (or are we talking about the same thing?). "You guys havin' burritos?"

There were so many variations on it they blur together.

When Bush unveiled his presidential portrait with, "Welcome to my hanging". Taken from the Daily Show, yes.

The mind wants to say some brilliantly written/performed bit of satire, but the heart wants to go with that site that had all those monkey comparison pics.

I just found out that "Take A Bow" by Muse (The song is in the current Watchmen trailer) is an anti Bush song.

The one-man show by Ferrell is as hilarious and crude as you'd expect from a Ferrell/McKay collaboration. (I didn't know McKay was directing the show -- I just thought he helped develop it.) It's part stand-up and part performance with a fair amount of audience interaction. However, it's not like W. where you're amazed by the detail of the performance. If you've seen Ferrell on SNL as Bush, picture a longer, R-rated version of that. But Ferrell manages to handle the serious moments (9/11, Katrina, Iraq) deftly and while it's clearly a comedy show, I don't think you'd walk away from it thinking it was "fair to Bush."

It's really quotable, too. I definitely am going to buy the DVD of the special when it comes out.
