Since Free Radical (The Time Splinters series, Haze) have gone tits up, word is Lucasarts handed over BF3 to Rebellion, who made Renegade Squadron the psp Battlefront game.

I hope it is true, as it would be a shame to see this go to waste (and the Battlefront games are fucking ace)

I thought the second game fucked up the whole idea, allowing you to play as a hero or villain. Space battles were great though.

Graphics look amazing. How the hell are they making games look better and better with the same old hardware from 2005?

Regarding the PS3, specifically, it's b/c they still haven't figured out how to fully tap all the hardware resources.

ETA - Holy crap, they took a fighter from the ground to near-planetary-orbit...

So am I to understand that one section of your team can lead an attack on a star destroyer, fly inside of it, blow up the core and escape while your team B fights some kind of objective on the ground?

Cause if that's the case, my head might just explode with geek juice.

looks amazing. I had the first Battlefront, and the game kind of turned me off..just not as fun as the BF series.

Why, after GTA, Saint's Row, and numerous others, is seamlessly traversing between complex environments considered some kind tech marvel? This sounds fishy.

I loved the original Battlefront, but the sequel wasn't very fun. Is it just me, or did the sequel look worse than the original?
