The NYT has a great gallery of Obama's cabinet members.

How lucky is Eugene Kang? I love the photos that show people's personalities. There are some creepy doll looking ones. Loosen up, people!

LOL. The photographer went out of his/her way to make them look extra creepy.

Check out the lawyer (Robert Bauer), he made him look like a hobo!

Some look like their heads have been enlarged for effect! And Ken Salazar, wtf?!?

I don't see what's so weird about the photos. They hired a trendy/artsy guy to snap some shots. Maybe too much for the boring, stuffy world of politics. The pics are pretty good. The lighting is what's making them "creepy."

I was playing Hair of the Dog on winamp while scrolling through those and it took me a minute or two to realize that the fucking photographer is giving a damn monologue the whole time.

...creepy.

Yeah, Jim Massina definitely has an "I'm not fucking around" face. And Ed, the relative youth of some of the people in that essay -- not just his personal aide, but Favreau (who's 27) and his executive secretary (also 27, I think) -- has me asking the same thing.
