I've read CHUD for years now, but never posted before. Now of course I'm posting because I have a movie I directed that I want to promote. I suppose I could get ripped into for this. Oh well. I still think you should go see the movie.
“Growing Out” is an indie horror comedy about an out of work singer songwriter that discovers a human being growing out of his basement floor. If we do well in our first week, the distributor will open us up in more theaters in New York and San Francisco. So we really need all the support we can get. Here is a chance to see a small and unique film on the big screen!
You can check out the trailer for the film at our website, www.growingout-themovie.com
We are opening on Friday January 23rd at the Laemmle Grande 4-Plex 345 S. Figueroa St. Los Angeles, CA 90071.
The theater is in the lower level of the Marriott hotel. Parking is across the street in the World Trade Center.
Tickets are $8.50 (cheap!) The first showings on Saturday and Sunday are only $6.50.
Show times :
Fri. 7:00 pm, Sat. 1 pm, 3:10 pm, 7:00 pm, Sun. 1 pm, 3:10 pm, 7:00 pm, Mon. 7:00 pm, Tues. 7:00 pm, Wed. 7:00 pm and Thurs. 7:00 pm
There will be a Q&A with the Director, (you can make fun of me to my face!) Writer, and Cast after the 7:00 pm showings on Friday, Saturday and Thursday.
