It looks great on "paper", but I wonder how great the extras really are.

The Charlie Rose segment is great, but I wouldn't be surprised if the rest was mostly fluff. Some of the stuff sounds good though, like the Q&A and Brolin's behind the scenes.

I'm glad I held off on the Blu. That sucker's mine.

Yeah, I don't mean to sound so negative, I just hate double dipping nowadays. Almost all my Coen discs are barebones anyways, and I've seen the Rose episode, so I think I can hold out.

I agree. A lot of that seems to be just interviews the cast and crew did for the movie (LYONS!). Considering how much of that is bound to be overlap, I'm going to take the wait and see approach.

Well, I never got around to picking up the original release, so I'm all over this.

I never got around to picking it up either. Starz Cinema was playing it twice a day a while back, so I don't feel the need to see it again for some time.

Ditch that B.S. digital copy sign and that would be a nice cover.

I have to say, the NO COUNTRY SE Blu is fantastic. It's about as loaded a Blu-Ray as we're going to get on this particular film. I'd say there's so much Coen stuff on it in interviews and Q&As that you practically don't need a commentary. We get a Spike Jonze Q&A, Charlie Rose, some NPR interviews, Making Of docs... if you don't have the original this is pretty much a no-brainer purchase, and even if you do I'd suggest trading it.

Apparently if you own the original dvd release and buy the bluray you can a $10 refund, which is kinda nice.
I like that some companies do that.
