Huge fan of the show,it's one of my all-time favorite Animes. I'm also an unabashed sucker for a decent Hack-n-Slash game. This could potentially be a very solid game. The graphics are stunning, the gameplay looks fun, fluid, accessible and brutal & gory as hell. It comes out today or tomorrow I think-can't wait to check it out.

Just to bring people up to speed, there's a ton of videos for it here: http://www.gametrailers.com/game/5847.html

Whoa -- had no idea there was gonna be a game. Love the anime -- consider this rented.

Thanks for the heads-up.

ETA - Holy shit, the Atari Live trailer! Cut that dude clean in twain!

That's nothing,my friend. The developers invented something called the "Perfect Slice" mechanic. This basically gives you the ability to hack up enemies in literally hundreds & hundreds of different ways.Slice off fingers, ears, toes, knees, smash out teeth, cut them in-half vertically, horizontally, diagonally etc' etc'!! It's all just insanely over-the-top,very much like the Anime.

I also love how the music goes to the beat of the action,so when things speed up or slow down the music follows suit. And the fact that The Rza is the composer is awesome in itself.

Demo is finally up on XBL! I think everyone should give it a chance, you might be surprised.

Really loving this game. It's a short demo, but it leaves a great impression-played it 5 times over already. The only significant issue I can see,is a fairly shitty camera set-up.Not as bad as Ninja Gaiden 2,but not much better either. Has some gorgeous hyper-stylized visuals that capture that Anime look & feel almost perfectly. The combat system is fantastic! Very accessible and fluid yet it has it's own bit of innovation, which comes in the form of "Focus Mode";this allows you to slow down time and aim your slices and other attacks for maximum damage. You can also deflect bullets or shatter them to use the shrapnel as a weapon against surrounding enemies, though unfortunately this feature isn't in the demo. And it has a phenomenal soundtrack by Rza,and some top notch voice work by Samuel L. Jackson. Did I also mention that it's insanely gory & brutal?

Definitely picking this sumbitch up when I can scrounge up the cash!
