Reported in Hollywood Reporter via AICN

But can they find an equal to Uber-80's Hottie Jane Badler as the Leader of the Visitors?

Two ABC pilots picked up so far this pilot season -- "V" and "The Witches of Eastwick" -- are reimaginings of 1980s titles. Both are produced by Warner Bros. TV.
There's that dreadful little word. Reimaginings.

Doesn't seem to have Kenneth Johnson's involvement. For what that might be worth.

LolWtf?

Thank God Kenneth Johnson isn't involved in this. That book of his wasn't even good enough to be used as toilet paper.

All I really want from a V remake are elements:

<Red Jumpsuited dudes with Old Man sun glasses who pretend to be our friends but really are not

<Hot V Leader who turns out to be a Lizard

<ALL Red JumpSuited dudes turn out to be Lizards

<Scene where a Visitor extends their lower jaw in order to EAT A LIVE HAMSTER!

<Scene where pregnant human woman is about to give birth knowing the father is one of the Visitor's (just to switch it up they might also have a scene where a female Visitor lays an egg which hatches into a HUMAN BABY!)

<Various scenes which show weaselly, greedy cowardly Humans selling out to the Visitors even after learning they eat LIVE HAMSTERS!

Are they sure it's not "OZ" meets "Touched By An Angel"?

This news seems nearly identical to that CHUD article in October. How did The Hollywood Reporter and I miss this?
