Completely took me out of every moment he was in. It felt like Joel doing a bit in Community about the X files.

If they wanted an Alex Jones type why didn't they just cast him or find someone as eccentric as him. That would have given the damn idea some interest. Here is this fucking nutter ball who may actually have the Truth. That's compelling. And would be hard for Mulder to accept how the Truth got placed into the hands of someone who would probably start Martial Law for his own amusement.

Because Carter is the George Lucas of television and needs to give it over to talented passionate fans. More people like Kumail in charge at the writers room who can make some kind of sense of this stuff please.

McHale can't do dramatic acting for shit. Chris Pratt is Daniel Day Lewis compared to him.

First off, this comparison makes no sense because Lucas is far more creative and intelligent than that hack Carter will ever be. Honestly, this joke stopped being funny in 1999 and even then it was completely inaccurate.

One of a kind bad.

You're learning.

While I was let down by the last season, it did remind me how much I liked the characters, so I give this show one last chance.

As a fan of Community, I was happy to see McHale get cast on the X Flies, but then I was instantly bummed out that he was playing an Alex Jones type. Jones is clearly a basket case and I don't want to see a show that makes paints someone like him in a positive light.

I liked the were-creature episode. It was meant to be funny and I laughed all the way though it. I know that isn't deep criticism, but it works for me.

It's simple. If Gillian Anderson is in, I'm in.

Now why can't let that dude write every episode of the new season? Oh right because Chris Carter.

*wet fart*

Are people really frothing at the gills for the Rogue One of X-Files?

Here's hoping Anderson doesn't have to wig up it for S11. That thing was distracting.

Yeah, as I recall he had to turn down involvement in Season 10 because of Saul, and these days he's juggling Saul with a Jonestown miniseries for HBO, so if anything it's even more out of the question now.

Shit, I forgot about the Jonestown series. That's going to be good.

I want to believe this will be good but I will fight the future urge to watch it.
