As much as I'd like to grab the bonus goodies for this, I've got enough credit from the disappointing duo of Bioshock 2 and Final Fantasy XIII to cash in at the local Best Buy.

PS3. As much as I enjoy my X-Box, I don't want to have to pay for a monthly service for online pay, that and all my friends have a PS3 as well, the choice on my end was an easy one.

Game stop is running a deal where if you turn in two games on their list, you'll get $40 a few games and Red Dead is one of them. I had two games on the list, while I traded in Batman Arkam Asylum, I'm not giving up on MAG just yet.

OK, preordered it. But went el cheapo with the free shipping so as to ensure it won't be sitting around when I can't play it. Will ship around the 24th, and arrive "June1 - June 7". Which will also be driving me insane, but hell. It's done now, at least. It will also, however, ensure that RDR is the game to break in the shiny new big-ass HD TV I'm finally upgrading to that week. So I got that going for me. Which is nice.

The next three weeks are going to be rough.

Yeah I'm really torn on what system to pick this up for. Everyone at work has a PS3. Only thing is they really don't play online very much so it'll be a rare chance when we actually get together.

I don't entirely know what I'm talking about, but I'd guess no. Capcom actually sold the Red Dead franchise to Rockstar after Red Dead Revolver. Revolver, from what I know of it, was kind of weird and, well, Japanese. Looks like two different developers, two completely different approaches.

damn you all, I guess 360 it is then. I have the guys at work with the PS3 and we all played MAG on it for a little while, but my 360 has about 5 times more active players on my friends list... sigh. Still on the fence tho. I need to hurry up on the pre-order for the $20 credit.

Early word is that the PS3 version includes a bug that accidentally transmits the smallpox virus through the DualShock 2. 360 for me.
