Jake, under the Premier Deals box on the left, look where it says "More Publisher Savings." Then keep clicking on "Next 4" until the TellTale bundle comes up.
Hot. Thanks!
Picked up STALKER, Mirror's Edge and the LucasArts pack all for less than ten bucks.
Waiting to see what today's specific deals are.
Steam servers must be getting hammered, my download rate sux right now.
Has anyone else played GTA IV on PC? Still hem-hawwing around on that one.

Ah, hell. I miss my Heretic and Hexen games.
Pass on all the daily deals today for me. DOOM, etc. were awesome in the mid-'90s, but I have no interest at this point.
Yeah, there's a saying about never being able to go home again.

That saying is really about playing Doom II past 1996.

Spend 30 on the first day of the sale...saving 30 more for a reeeeally good deal or bundle to come.

Xbox Live is also having a daily deal these days....just a reminder.
Today is Monkey Island:SE at half price.
Good Old Games is also having a sale on older titles. There are some especially good deals for rpg afficionados: Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics; Gothic 1, 2, and 3 (although 3 supposedly sucks); and really old-schoolers can get the Realms of Arkania games retooled for Win XP, no futzing with DosBox.

Torchlight is on sale on Steam today for $4.99, so you've got absolutely no goddamn excuse.

This man speaks the truth.
I am not sure if this is a deal everywhere, but a few days ago I got GTA:EFLC for only $30 for the XBOX360 at the Best Buy. At GAMESTOP it was over 40.
I booted up the Virtual Console for the first time in ages yesterday (yay, Zombies Ate My Neighbors!) and it turns out a number of Sega games are on sale for five bucks. Lots of Sonic games, Gunstar Heroes, and a handful of others as well.

Yeah, this was nice to see. Here's hoping the trend continues. Regular sales on various titles would be great.

Gamefly's got a Year End sale going on till January 4th. Most of the goods are on 360.

Need For Speed Undercover is $8.
X-Men Origins Wolverine, Chronicles of Riddick are $10.
Street Fighter IV and RE5 are $13
Midnight Club LA and Ghostbusters are $12.99

For $10, that Wolverine game is almost a compulsory buy.
Yeah, Origins is worth $10 easy.

RE5 MIIIIIGHT be worth $13.
I'd be all over RE5 if that Alternative Version wasn't coming next year.

Wasnt the alternative version going to be DLC as well?
Yeah, if you already own the disc, everything on the Alternative Edition can be downloaded, but there's a retail Game Of The Year kind of disc coming in March that has all the DLC and a new episode as well. That's what I'm waiting on.

Oh, dammit....im going to crave in and buy this, arent I? (same with Super SFIV, but thats more than worth it).
Wonder what deals Steam will offer today...
If anyone likes strange Japanese things, they also have Suda51's "Flower, Sun & Rain" for $8 on that Gamefly sale. I ordered that one-- was never interested enough to pay full price, but it should surely be worth this.
I didn't know that was in there. I'd been curious about that game for a while.

And it's already sold out. Balls.

Thanks for the heads up anyway.

Kind of "meh" on today's Steam deals:

Dead Space -- $10.49
Zombie Driver -- $2.49
Hearts of Iron III -- $7.49
Complete PopCap Collection -- $49.99
Day of Defeat Source -- $2.49

Although I'm sure there are people who will go nuts over that PopCap set.

Same here; I use my PC for RPG's and RTS games, so none of the deals today were any interesting.
Also, did anyone bought Jagged Alliance 2 Gold for 10 bucks and The Witcher for 15 bucks? I cant be the only one.
Target is having a 50% off sale on a shitload of games this week. YMMV.

Bought it yesterday, have easily gotten 5 bucks of fun out of it so far today even if it is just Diablo again.
I think Burnout Paradise for $7.50 on Steam should be worth my dollars. I like those games.
Prey for $2.25 is the only thing that caught my interest today.
Burnout was bought. Kind of a no-brainer actually especially for The Ultimate Box.
What the -- by the time I got home from work, Prey was sold out! They've replaced it with BioShock for $4.99.

I just noticed that. I don't think I've ever seen that before on their holiday sales.
It's because of unique keys running out. Happened again with STALKER.
Another "meh" day on Steam, with Jade Empire for $3.75 being the only one I'm remotely interested in.

I bought it too...thus adding yet another game to the list of never ran games that will be on my steam list after I die.
If your a fan of RPGs you'll love Jade Empire. I don't think the story or characters are as good as the KOTOR games, but the plotting is tigther and the combat is more fun.
I actually just ordered Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 off GameFly. They had it for $20 with free shipping and I'd finished up most of the original DW Gundam.

They also had Bionic Commando for $8 or so which is definitely worth it. The game has its flaws but is generally pretty fun.

Bionic Commando was pretty damn fun, despite that horrible, stupid plot twist and final battle.
swingin with the bionic arm in 3D was oustanding.

I'll love it, for sure, but who knows when i'll get to play it...theres way too much on my plate right now.
Yeah, I bought Jade Empire, too. Been wanting to pick it up for cheaps, so this was perfect. I'm WAY behind the curve on the Bioware goodness-- working my way through KOTOR for the first time right now (before the Torchlight addiction struck), so I'll try to get to this one relatively soon.

Yeah, Torchlight currently owns my life. I already feel guilty about only paying 5 bucks for it. Even worse, at this point I'm only running the dungeons to get enough gold to feed my gambling addiction and I'm only level 20. I've barely touched Dragon Age: Origins and I can't even fathom buying another RPG right now.
Castle Crashers is 7 bucks on Xbox Live right now, in their New Year's sale. I've been holding off on it for far too long.
I ended up getting Jade Empire and the first KOTOR.

This sale is nickel and diming me to death.
It's Max Payne and Civilization IV Day on Steam. Both Max Payne games for $2.50 each, Civ IV and the Beyond the Sword expansion for $6.79 each, and Colonization for $10.19. They've also got Left 4 Dead GOTY for $7.49.
I clicked through to the Max Payne page and realized that you can get a 2-pack for $3.50! I own the first game on CD, but might buy that pack for kicks.

A good deal is "Twin Blades" in the indie games section (its 240 MS points); its just a cute sidescroller where you kill zombies as a young nun, armed witha scythe and several unlockanle guns; its a "kill kill kill until you die and lose your hi-score or beat the game and be done with it" deal, so your mileage may vary.
Im loving it, though, specially because new types of zombies pop up as you advance, and they become tougher and tougher.
