Thanks for the heads up!  I picked up Borderlands, Assassin's Creed 2, and Battlefield: BC2.  So late to the game with all three, but I'm fairly happy to get them all for about $25 each.

rats - 360 only. Mafia 2 is my current Gamefly game (it's actually quite good) and I'd pick up the DLC for those prices. Oh well.

I wonder if some of those deals will be coming to the PSN soon, like how different retail stores will have identical sales on the same items within weeks of each other. Got my eye on some of that Rockstar games content myself.

Everything Apogee is 50% of at GoG, plus they did a surprise release of "The last express", one of the finest adventure games ever made.

Gamestop has a Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal on all used games with promo code FEB2G1. You can also stack the promo code CAG16 for another 16% off. I got Bioshock 2, Silent Hill Shattered Memories, and Deadly Premonition for $30 total.

Picked up Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY, Uncharted 2, and Okami for $40. You sir are my hero of the day.

They're not letting me stack the coupons, but I might go for it anyway.

Got Project Gotham Racing 4 for like 7 bucks. It's alright but it plays more like a driving sim than a racing game if you know what I mean.

I forgot to post this earlier this week, but Xbox Live has Pac-Man Championship Edition DX for only $5. The game is a steal at that price.

Plus, if you're signed up for XBOX Rewards...you get about 5 or 10% of your total purchases back in MS points.

EDIT: for the month of March.

Bulletstorm is $40 for all platforms on Amazon for the rest of the day.

Thanks.  I went for that.  Didn't even know of the game's existence till today.  Hahahaha

Anybody here play Darksiders? It's on sale on Steam for 10 bucks, and I need some sort of action game to change up all the rpg-ing I've been doing lately.

Yep. Well worth that price! Just remember that's a complete Zelda clone, that'll gauge how much you like it. But a very solid game.

It's a Zelda game with actual combat in it. The combat isn't as deep as pure action games, but there's quite a few different moves available to you.  Getting the game for only $10 is a steal.

Excellent voice acting, too!

I never finished it, though.  One of the later dungeons was just too fiddly and backtrack-y (does that make any sense?) and I lost interest.  But even that much is worth ten bucks.

PSN Tetris is half price right now-- $5.  You should all buy it and then we can all be Tetris Buddies.

TETRIS!

The dungeons were a chore. I wouldn't recommend it any any price, but lots of good folks seemed to like it.

Picked up Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for my gf the other day for like 15 bucks. Forgot how much fun it is

Gamestop is having their "Power Saver" sale during most of April (4/1-4/24). If you've ever been to this sale before, you know that most of it is crap, but there are usually a few gems hidden in there. Here's a list of a few highlights:

Buy 2 Get 2 Free on All Pre-Owned PS2/GBA/GC games
Borderlands GOTY (PS3/360) - $19.99
Just Cause 2 (360/PS3) - $19.99
Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY 3D (PS3/360) - $19.99
Enslaved (PS3/360) - $14.99
DJ Hero 2 with Turntable (PS3/360/Wii) - $29.99
Fallout 3 GOTY (PS3/360) - $19.99
Castlevania Lords of Shadow (PS3 Only) - $29.99
Majin The Forsaken (PS3/360) - $14.99
Singularity (PS3/360) - $19.99
Goldeneye (Wii) - $29.99

You can find the entire list of what is known at this point here: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=290739

Someone care to chime in on Enslaved? I've been eyeing that game for a while, and waiting till it hit that Under $20 sweet spot.

If anybody here hasn't played Just Cause 2, it's a steal at $19.99. It's one of the few 2010 games outside of Mass Effect 2 that still gets semi-regular attention.

It's average-to-good. I played it for free, pretty much, from Goozex, and I might have felt stiffed if I had spent any money on it. It's a nice 3-star game (on a 5-star scale). Very short.

Enslaved practically plays itself, but it's got nice production values and superlative voice acting.  I bought it and traded it in for the exact same price, so it was worth it for me! :) I probably wouldn't regret playing it for under $20 though.

Did you play Prince of Persia 2008?  It's a similar experience.

Yeah, PoP '08 was solid, but I would've felt gypped if I paid more than the $15 I did for it. All righty, I'll bite.

Enslaved is definitely worth it for $15. Personally, I'm planning on picking up Just Cause 2 and maybe Majin & the Forsaken Kingdom.

Is this Gamestop sale in stores only? I went to the website and I don't see anything there about a $20 Just Cause 2.

Maybe because the sale doesn't start until Friday dumbass.

Is Mafia 2 worth the 15 bucks it currently costs on Amazon?

I say yes. It isn't GTA, and has its flaws, but I had fun with it.

Thanks for the heads-up, Polygon. Snatched up Just Cause 2 at the sale today. I would suggest if you had any of the titles in mind to head down there. My Gamestop actually sold out of the DJ Hero 2 bundle already.

There's a Game of the Year edition out in about a month which packages the game together all the DLC and will cost around $20 or $30.

Yeah, I tried heading down there and they were sold out of new copies of Just Cause 2.  They had used, but I don't do that.

For some reason it's not advertised as part of the sale, but Fallout: New Vegas is $19.99 for all platforms.  Yoinked that like I've never yoinked before.

Anyone have any bad technical issues with Fallout 3 GOTY PS3?  I had bought a copy on Friday for $20, but then read a lot of complaints about glitches/freezing / long load times, and returned it for Batman GOTY, instead.  Is FO3 GOTY really THAT slow/buggy?

I'm too broke at the moment to take advantage of it, but a pre-order of Portal 2 from Amazon.com will knock 5 bucks off the price and, most importantly, hook you up with a 20 dollar credit for a future purchase.

Not sure if there's a similar deal for people outside the US.

That most recent Aliens vs Predator game is $4.99 on Steam until tomorrow. I'm guessing I can get five bucks of fun wasting some xenomorphs. Plus it looks great in DX11.

Those of you who've been duped at some point or another to sign up for Gamestop's Power Up Rewards Program: The coupon to get $10 off a used game is "on sale" for 4000 points till the 17th.

Any deals floating around for Crysis 2 on 360?

Amazon has gaming related deals of the day going on right now. StarCraft 2 is 40 bucks all day, and currently Dragon Age 2 is the 2-hour deal happening right now for 40 bucks. Sorry Nexus, the hints for later deals don't specifically call out Crysis2, but Bulletstorm should be coming down the pipe later on.

Any cheap Witcher deals coming down the pipe?  I keep hoping Steam will throw it in with a Witcher 2 preorder, but I've been doing so much RPGing lately it seems wrong to have skipped this.

GoG is gonna have The original Witcher for 5 bucks starting sometime in May.

If you wait long enough, within a reasonable 1 or 2 month span (sometimes even a couple of weeks) most games get discounted online. Today is your day Nexus - Crysis 2 is $40 on all platforms today at Amazon.

Thanks a ton mongycore. Unfortunately, times are tough right now. I'm sure similar deals will pop up within the next few months, and then I will leap on them like a jumping spider!

Starting on 4/30, Gamestop is selling Portal 2 (PS3 and 360) for $39.99.

EA Store is having their Spring Sale (one day only) of 40% off a HUGE portion of their store.  Some newer titles look to be held back but they still have a lot of good options.  Dead Space 2 and Bulletstorm jumped out at me as pretty good deals for newer games.

I was bitching to the guy I was tattooing today about how my old lady doesn't want me to buy Mortal Kombat, I have no idea why but she's a woman so go figure. Anyway. He works at Toys R Us and was saying that May 1st - 7th Mortal Kombat on PS3 and 360 will be on sale for $40 and that there's a $10 coupon in the in store magazine giving you a final total of $30 plus tax. He said if you go in and buy it today at regular price you can actually go back on the sale date and get it "price adjusted" too if you don't want to go in on Sunday. So yay...I'm going to buy it anyway.

Also, starting on 4/30, Kmart is selling Portal 2 at $35 (PS3 and 360).

GameStop is selling the PC version of Portal 2 for a measly $30 starting on that date. So, yeah - go buy it.

Blind bought Chronicles of Riddick: Assualt on Dark Athena today for 10 bucks at Gamestop. Heard that it's supposed to be some unsung masterpiece so I figured I'd see what the hype was about.
