Brian Cox is Frank Perry, an inmate who hasn't seen his daughter in 15 years. One day he receives a letter that she's dying. He decides to take action and starts planning an escape.
The movie is good. Almost great. The cast is what makes it work. Cox is great, Joseph Phienes is fantastic, and the supporting players are believable.
The structure of the story is divided between the events leading to the escape and the escape itself.
The only problem i had with the film was the sound. The dialogue was low and some accents thick. I couldn't make out 30% of the words. So i had to piece it together in context. And some characters are never fleshed out or explained.
But overall, i'd give it a 7.
