Jus go ahead and fess up about anything you think would be considered a "sin" by your fellow chewers. Lets see who can come up with the most originals or worse "sins".
My opening shots:
-I own an imported "Spaced: The Complete Series" dvd set for almost a year now..and I have only watched the first episode.
-Ive never watched "Hot Fuzz" or "Shaun of the Dead"'s with their commentaries track.
-I've never managed to develop any interest whatsoever on "Y the last man", "Fables", "Ex Machina" or "100 Bullets".
-I sort of stopped watching "Lost" midway during its 4th season.
-Ive never watched "The Wire".
-I have no problem whatsoever with the microwave emitter in "Batman Begins".
-I dont think "Scott Pilgrim" is the greatest thing in the story of everything.
-i hate beards.

I don't like The Thing. In fact, about the only John Carpenter I can stand is Escape from New York and Big Trouble in Little China (which I whole-heartedly adore). The rest just does nothing for me.

Original Sin! Burn in a bonfire of shitty movies, non-believer!

Hated 'Speed Racer'.

I also know how to spell "confessions" properly.
I don't find Judd Apatow's films to be funny.
- I've seen exactly ONE episode of Lost and the new Battlestar Galactica. I'm with Ryoken on The Wire as well as The Shield.
- I have less than no interest in watching American Idol. Ever.
- I don't own a satellite radio.
- I have yet to watch Brokeback Mountain.

Never saw an ep of THE WIRE and I thought FOOT FIST WAY was "adequate".

RD... really? I'm utterly shocked. There's gotta be a conversion camp we can send you to.

In regards to alot of things in here.

Schpelling ist not grammar!!!
I don't think The Thing is a bad film, I just don't have the fall-on-my-knees reverence for it that some around here do.
I don't enjoy online multiplayer.
All multiplayer, or just mummorpgas?
-I think Heath Ledger 100% deserves the Oscar.

Pretty much all multiplayer. Halo, GTA, Rock Band...online multiplayer is not my thing.

Hope you're wearing asbestos pants, Doc.

-The only Bertolucci film I've seen is The Last Emperor.
-The only Antonioni film I've seen is Blow Up.
-I've never seen a Bergman film.
-I think 90% of everything Joss Whedon has ever done is mediocre and boring. And that includes The Body.
-I think Picard was a better captain than Kirk.
Love: SUPERMAN RETURNS.
Hate: SPEED RACER.
Meh: SLITHER.

Haven't started watching THE WIRE yet, although I do have the first four seasons on DVD.
I can't get into the White Stripes/Raconteurs.
I can't get into any Radiohead albums after 'OK Computer'.
So is the correct term "contrarian" or "iconoclast?" I always get those two mixed up.

Hey, that's fair enough. I can relate thanks to my affinity for single player RPGs.

I'm assuming you've tried Left 4 Dead.
I can't stand Broken Lizard, Star Trek or 24.

To clarify:

I think Broken Lizard is just utterly atrociously terrible, I don't really get what's so special about Star Trek compared to other crappy sci-fi shows and I honestly don't understand why people choose to watch 24.

Not yet. Since every review I've read says that the online multiplayer is the only reason to play it, I haven't been itching to try it out.
I didn't like Crank.
I saw "The Dark Knight" 5 times theatrically.

Seconded. I never said it because I was afraid...
So you didn't see Eva Green naked in The Dreamers. That's a sin.

Hey, look. This thread.

Terrorist!

I thought the Mist was just OK.
I watch Heroes.
I don't think Obama is the Savior.
I've always preferred Office to 30 Rock.

Guilty as charged.

While The Thing and Ghostbusters are undoubtedly good films, they're really not worthy of the truckloads of geek adulation they constantly recieve. Neither begins to represent the best of their respective genres.

Additionally, Spike's entirely correct on 24. The show's as fine an example of lazy plotting as I've ever run across.

Okay, it's not just me then and my massive sense of deja vu. This thread tends to crop up every five months or so.

I like to think that Ryoken did an archive search for 'conffesions' before posting this thread.
I think this thread could be amusing, but people really need to debate or do something other than OMGZ YOU DON'T LIKE XXX YOU SHOULD DIE IN A FIRE.

Name another big budget horror comedy that's better than Ghostbusters. I'm waiting.

I'll admit I was more referring to the comedy genre as a whole.

I somehow knew you'd be the first to pick up on any criticism of that film.

Actually, i didnt search at all, which is a sin in itself.
I may have said this in another, similar thread but my biggest sin would probably be that I have not yet seen any of The Godfather films. I know it is something I need to remedy... Please don't crucify me!

I always find these threads amusing and don't mind that they pop up from time to time... Is that a sin too?
I don't like Carpenter's The Thing.
This thread is full of fail. However, it is nice to belong to a message board where not liking Speed Racer makes you an outcast. It's like a wonderful bizarro land.
I never say;

1) Bravo, good sir. Bravo.

2) Well played, good sir, well played.

3) *golf clap*

when somebody posts something funny! I am the true black sheep of Chud.

Shaun of the Dead? An American Werewolf in London?

Not a big fan of Ghostbusters myself.

I'm demanding we test Dickson and Eileen's blood. Something weird going on there. Quick, tie them to the couch!
