I know a lot of people love that about horror movies and go into them hoping for exactly that type of reaction, but I don't enjoy being afraid, really, so I avoid them. As such, many of the classic, CHUD-lauded horror films have never played before my eyes. It's not something I am particularly proud of (and it sucks that so many of the CHUD podcast jokes go over my head since they reference these movies so much) and I know it isn't especially masculine, but it's my reality.
I also like long, wet, soft, slow kisses that last 3 days.

You're not alone. I've gotten better since I began frequenting CHUD, actually, but intense horror (especially slasher) movies do have an effect on me that they don't seem to have on most Chewers. I have an intellectual appreciation for slashers after having read a lot in their defense here and at the AV Club, but no matter how much I respect them, I never really want to sit down and watch one. Maybe it comes from the Horror section being directly across from the Children's section at my local video store at a very impressionable age. Or maybe I'm a big fat squishy wuss. Either answer is acceptable.
But CHUD turned me on to a lot of movies I loved I wouldn't have ordinarily seen because of my bias:
The Rise of Leslie Vernon,
Hostel--I even watched the
Hills Have Eyes remake (albeit edited for TV) recently and enjoyed it, which surprised me. Though I'm still a long way from putting
The Devil's Rejects at the top of my Netflix queue.
As far as kisses go, 2 days is my limit.
